The Angel Larling, Title Bar

It was a big day for Diana and I. Not only were we going to attend an Eastern Counties, Morgan Sports Car Club Lunch but it was also our wedding anniversary. Some twenty nine years earlier we had got married. Of course, even then I had yearned for my first Morgan but I kept that quiet until much later.

Finding The Angel was remarkably easy from the North but not so straightforward from the South and we sailed straight past the turning as it was sign posted to London and we knew we did not want to go that way. A brief trip to Snetterton found us coming South down the A11 and finding the pub was much easier. There were twenty three of us for lunch and the small back room just about held us all. I had the Duck and jolly yummy it was to.

I am a little ashamed to say that we did not brave the elements but arrived in our Saab. In our defense I would say that we were driving on to Norwich to complete the weekend celebrations. There were lots of Morgans on show though and most had arrived without their roofs despite the inclement rain early on in the day.

David Kennet sent me some pictures which are displayed below.
