car paekoutside talkingSunday 15th March dawned a beautiful Spring day and wonder of wonders it kept its promise so that it was impossible to imagine anything more glorious than driving a hood-down Morgan around the quiet roads of North Norfolk as was enjoyed by 20 members of FolkMog.Actually the drive was most unfortunately cut short for Terry & Judy Read as their 4/4 developed some electrical mischief which meant that they never made East Rudham where the rest of us gathered at The Crown for a lunch meeting.

at lunchThe pub made us most welcome and after over half an hour outdoors salivating over our drinks and Reg Lowe’s brand new sparkling yellow 09 registered Plus 4, we migrated upstairs to what can only be described as in the pattern of a medieval hall where we were seated along a splendid refractory table to enjoy a super up-market lunch.

Time really flew by and before we knew it we had to say farewell to our friends and enjoy the drive home. It had all made us realise if we didn’t know it already, that driving a Morgan to meet up with MSCC friends is probably the most effective antidote to the credit crunch,it certainly is for us!
